With graduation over and preparing for grad classes that start here soon; and this new job I started a while back I haven't had much time to do the activities I use to do with my close friends! We text every once in a while, but while I feel I have started a new professional lifestyle and I LOVE IT, but I miss my friends!! Sharing unforgettable moments with your girlfriends are some of the BEST times ever!! I can only hope they don't forget about me just as I can promise I will never forget about them and all the times we shared together. I choose to do different things only because I will soon have a state license, and am involved with a career field that reputation is a large part of your credibility. I want to be a positive influence with the children I work with, because that is my passion and I really do care and want to be the BEST I can be in life. I hope my friends can relate to that and let it be a good excuse to have more girls nights at each others houses instead of going out!! :)

 

Romance her just because...

1. Softly kiss her forehead and tell her you missed her today.
2. A card, on a random day, just to say "I love you!"
3. Buy her a candle and leave a note saying she lights up your world.
4. Waking up together, tell her you are going to have the BEST day because you got to wake up next to her.

Today is my brother's birthday!! Happy Birthday lil/big brother!!! 18 years old and have the whole world ahead of you!

Graduation around the corner and the ability to choose any future you want! I hope to see you grow and excel in whatever future you choose!!!

The Next Chapter..

I was super excited to have some time off from school but I am bored not having class, haha! I know, I know....I'm CRAZY!! But actually I'm kinda excited and anxious to get started on this next chapter in my life...Graduate School!!! I have always had this dream of making a career through educational opportunities but I saw that happening way into my future, and not within the next year. I feel very accomplished knowing that all my hard work at continued education is paying off and that after another year I will have my masters degree by age 24! I have watched so much of my family really struggle and nothing about that sounds appealing to me. I promised myself along time ago that I would never be in that position, and I would do what I needed to, as far as, earning a degree so I could, no matter what, support myself comfortably and a family, one day.

So classes start the first week in June and go through the last week in July. I will have classes on Thursday and Fridays from 1pm-8pm. UGH 7 hour classes...welcome to grad school haha. I will be taking:

SOCWRK 513 Advanced Issues in Human Diversity
SOCWRK 529 Research & Statistics for Social Work

And then fall classes I have registered for and they are:

	Program : Graduate
	SOCWRK 526 Evaluation & Treatment of Mental Disorders
	SOCWRK 532 Advanced Research
	SOCWRK 550 Advanced Interventions I
	SOCWRK 575 Advanced Social Work Practicum I
	SOCWRK 577 Advanced Practicum Seminar I   So that should keep me pretty busy with intern hours and work!! But I am SO excited to get going again, be crazy busy with all my appointments and finish up in no time!

DECORATING!!!

So I ordered these wall quotes from Amazon that are super cute with positive messages to put on the walls! I can wait to have my own place. I will have enough $ saved to move out and get my own house all set up after graduation next year!! I can't to wait to decorate, it will be so much fun!!

Old Memories but New Beginnings!!!

So I recently got a text from a very special person who use to be a BIG part of my life. Tauni and I used to be best friends, more like sisters actually. We lived together, partied together, at one time worked together, and was the other half to each other. She and I were closer to each other than we were to our own sisters at one point in time. Eventually, we met new people and time moved us farther apart. After a year or two she contacted me and we have spent time catching up on life!! It is nice to know such strong relationships never end!! We have shared some of the funniest, saddest, exciting and most memorable moments that I will never forget! My sister has been telling me for a while I should start a blog since she is gone a lot and I don't have a Facebook or anything like that, so we will see how this goes. I had to have her come over and help me design it and learn everything because I am kind of bad with computers! Lol! Also, I thought this would be a good way to keep people up-to-date with what is going on in my life, school, work, intern, etc. especially for the people I don't see that often, family and old friends. So hopefully I get the hang of it!!
